Nanomed 2006 will be held in the Civic Centre,
Newcastle upon Tyne and is sponsored by the University of Newcastle upon
Tyne, with partners Centre of Excellence for Nanotechnology, Micro and
Photonic Systems (CENAMPS) and further sponsorship from the Centre of
Excellence for Life Sciences (CELS) and media partner, Dove Medical Press.
Nanomed 2006 will take place at the Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, June 27th & 28th in Council Chamber suite.
As research in nanoscale science progresses, its value within healthcare applications increases. This conference will bring together international speakers and delegates to discuss the value and significance of these rapid progressions and the implications of nanoscale technologies in clinical applications.
The conference aims to:
Introduce and define Nanomedicine
Share experience by examples of the science in action
Create a forum for collaborative research
Showcase current scientific advancements in nanomedicine
To give guidance on commercial exploitation
Submission of Abstracts
The committee is looking for research which features interdisciplinary working between physical and biotechnology science,
with particular reference to a healthcare driver. This can include basic science working towards finished devices or complete solutions.
